Progress Update #17
The 17th Progress update marks the second to last update for the year. It is amazing how fast the year has gone, and how much progress we have been able to make since we started the project in the spring.
Despite all the turmoil in the market and overall chaotic events throughout the year our team has been able to keep up the pace and follow our roadmap relentlessly, and it feels almost surreal to say we are midway to global launch!
Before that however, we still have a number of snapshots to launch so better get to it right away. Ladies and gentlemen, Snapshot. Number. Three!
Alpha Snapshot 3 — Thursday 15th of December
In the third snapshot, we will introduce the last of the main features. Earlier you have been able to play some of the main features including farming, crafting and foraging. In snapshot three you will be able to also do fishing, collect natural resources and build.
The snapshot will be launched on 15th of December, for Android and browser. We will again announce the full feature list a little bit closer to the release date.
Building Feature
Let’s have a look at one of the main features of Alpha Snapshot 3 — Building!
Naturally one of the cornerstone features of any life simulation, tycoon or building games is — building. You might wish to build something to boost your production, to make your homebase a bit more fancy, or a suitable establishment to throw a competition or event for your friends and neighbours.
Whatever the reason, our building feature is developed to bring endless possibilities and fun which can last a lifetime with web3 technology. Anything you build on your land is considered as part of the ‘real estate’ and part of the land NFT.
Your land will inevitably be increasing its value if you keep it in good shape, and continue building. Any movable decoration, furniture or other craftable items however, can be minted as separate NFTs and will not be part of the land NFT.
Name that Fish — competition
Yepopu Fish, Chooba Fish, Boom Fish, Spylonn, Spiky Pete, Senbon, Yellow Porcupine Puffer, Punker Fish, Tubbyfish, Brike, Greedix, Booba… these are just some of the amazing suggestions showing our community’s creativity when we asked them to name this EPIC fish!
Our team picked three best ones, and we’ll later announce the name we ended up with. We don’t take things like this lightly — so bare with us!

Christmas in Paradise Tycoon
It’s almost the holiday season and it’s no different in Paradise Tycoon! We made sure in Alpha Snapshot 3 that you will get the christmas spirit even in the tropical paradise. Maybe you can even find a hidden christmas island with a little bit of snow and a very friendly pet (not shark)!
Don’t forget to check in with Santa for free gifts in Snapshot 3!
Team Cards
While this might look like we are secretly building a collectible card game on the side — and who knows we might be — the real reason is we want you to get to know the rest of the team. However, instead of writing long biographies of each team member we will publish a fun player card of each member with some questions & answers!
We start with the team member behind the idea — our lead artist Vepe! You might’ve seen her doodles on Discord and if you haven’t gone check them out!
